{No Bake} Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough Balls

I call this snack “lazy” because I have turned my favourite oatmeal raisin cookie recipe into a quick, no-bake snack. These are essentially bliss balls, which I always have on hand for an energy boost. They are full of

  • healthy fats
  • plant-based protein
  • fibre
  • deliciousness

One ball is enough for a pick-me-up between meals, as a post-workout snack, or to take on-the-go.

No Bake Bliss Balls Inspired by Oatmeal Raisin Cookies


  • 1/2 C raw, unsalted almonds

  • 1 C rolled oats

  • 6 pitted dates

  • 3/4 C almond butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 Tbsp liquid honey

  • 3 Tbsp raisins

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt


  • In a food processor, pulse almonds, dates, and 3/4 C of the rolled oats until fine or well chopped
  • Add pulsed mixture to a bowl, then add in the remainder of the ingredients
  • Mix well with your hands until ingredients form a firm dough
  • Roll dough into 12 bite-sized balls and keep refrigerated until ready to eat


  • These store well in a glass container for up to 6 days, or freeze for up to 3 months
