Whoever invented the Mason jar is a genius. I stumbled upon a big box of them on a front lawn with a “free” sign attached and I thought I won the lottery. I use them as drinking jars, for chia pudding, trail mix, and the other best invention ever…Mason jar salads.
I always start with the dressing on the bottom, the protein and diced veggies in the middle, and the leafy greens on top. This method prevents the greens from wilting in the dressing. When you’re ready to eat, simply dump the jar upside down into a big bowl and everything gets coated in all the goodness.
